Makes you wonder how many people look at the side of my truck every day and go to www.discoweb.com and then think that I'm into Disco/Techno music.. Cause they didn't put on the .ORG ... Disco, YUK... Anybody got platform shoes with clear 6 inch soles and a gold fish swimmming around in them? Saw a chick at the mall with a pair of those on a few months ago.. The fish was real too..

Dude - those shoes sound cool as hell. What planet do you live on?

Mars.. Really though.. They are out there.. Made out of clear plastic of some sort.. They are one of those things that you just have to see once in your life.. I won't even go into what the rest of the clothes were that the girl was wearing with them.. I don't think that there was a part of her body that didn't have an ear ring in it either... Lip rings, nose rings, eye lid rings, many many ear rings. Must say that in a wierd way I was kinda of digging it.. :) She was a pretty girl just wouldn't want to walk through a metal detector with her..

Geez! Can't you just see her getting sucked up into the air by one of the huge crane-mounted magnets that they use to pick up scrap steel with?

All I can say is, those of you with daughters, ... beware! ... Around puberty, their brains become receptive to outer planetary transmissions that can be picked up at random, and takes over - you just never know when or what has hit them. Some are milder cases, and some are late bloomers. Just hang on through the ride and hopefully they will be released from the other planet's influence without any real harm done.:)

..Discoweb.com - yeah, did that once, and it took a few seconds to sink in ... "what the??" ..had the same thought, LOL, what if somone saw my sticker, went to the .com site? What are they are thinking about me? Funny!!!:)

Leslie,
Just be patient, be patient and be patient (and pray):). Girls like attention and approval from their dads (i.e."Daddy's Girl"). Give her plenty, and watch out for the cat fights that she may start with mom - try not to get caught in between them - you'll never know what hit you. Good luck. (You sound like your a great parent, you'll do fine:))

Problem is, she's WAY too smart for her own good...

Much better than the alternative, definitely, but never let it be said that a smart child isn't a handfull! :)

Thankfully, she IS a good kid... lazy, because she knows she can get away w/ not studying, but we're trying to keep her pointed right....

At least she likes Land Rovers.... but she's not getting my green one! Actually, I told her that she can have a car if it's a Land Rover, after she's built it.... and she thinks I'm kidding! Boy, is she gonna be surprised! :)

LOL, Brings back memories of my Dad, not just denying a few of the boys entrance to the house, but actually CHASING them down & out of the driveway ... All the while, one of us would be wailing, "but Dad, he is REALLY nice, you don't even KNOW him!" ... That poor man, surrounded by all girls - even my cousins were girls and they had girls ... :)

Advice for the day: If you have a lot a tension and you get a headache, do what it says on the aspirin bottle: "Take two aspirin" and "Keep
away from children"
