Today, at the Amoco, while checking the fluids, I noticed a green puddle at the bottom of the V on
the engine block, meaning that something high up on the engine is leaking coolant. It seems to have
happened somewhat recently,as I haven't noticed it before, but there's a little pile of "charred
coolant," I guess, on the block. No idiot light on, and truck still seems to run okay outside of a little
startup clatter and what is perhaps a sticking valve when hot. The truck is a 98 Disco with 58k miles.
I know discos leak lubricants, but since is a coolant leak, I'm guessing that this is not a "good thing,"
and is something that I most likely need to have a mechanic take a look at.

Thanks in advance,
Tate

Check the intake bolts.... They sometimes get loose and a leak develops. Also check clamps and the ussual suspects...

My expansion tank developed a crack where the hoses attach at the bottom. Ordered a new one from AB and swapped them in about an hour.
