Which brand of shock absorber will give the best ride to a stock Disco .Looking for good handling on the highway and to be able to deal with NYC streets.

You may want to try Bilstein's. I hear the are good on road and not to bad for offroading.I run Warn blackdiamond XT I love them a little stiffer than stock. Or you can always try Old Man Emu stiffer than stock but not as stiff as Bilstein's.
