Hey guys,

I just got a set of factory Running Boards for my 97' Disco not from LR. When I look under the truck there is only one hole, but the running boards have two holes on each extension.

Should there be some kind of an adapter? I did not get anything except mud flaps and the screws for the extension on the boards.

Thank you for any help.

You will have to drill holes in the outriggers to make things work. There should have been two small mounting plates for each running board that mounts to each outrigger (one in front and one in back). Call you dealer, they will probably fax a set of instructions to you. Tell them you bought them used from a friend and that he told you to call.

Thanks,
Mike B.

Thank you for the reply Mike.

There is one hole in each outrigger right now. I am guessing that is where the mounting plate goes. Is this correct?

The boards did not come with any mounting plates. I will call LR to see if I can get them. Or is there another place?

Herk

Try Nathan Crabtree (boatbuggy@aol.com) to see if he can get you the mounting brackets out of the UK. LRNA typically only sells the entire package. If not Nathan, try British Pacific or any of the other vendors listed in the Resources section of this site.

Thanks,
Mike B.
