Im looking to purchase these tires for snow, and for off road.

anyone used them in snow?
if so, how did they handle

I found em for 98 bucks a peice.

Yup,

Here where it actually snows on a regular basis, the BFG AT's are known as a poor excuse for a snow tire. Don't know about the new ones (as it's not winter yet), but I will tell you that my TracEdges (if you can still find 'em) are simply great in snow.

I agree with Keith - the AT/KO's are great for west-coast slick rock and dirt/sand.. but snow is a no go.. they pack quickly and don't clean well.. the trac-edge would perform better -

If you can't find the Trac Edges you can always get some Dunlop Radial Rover RT's.. They are pretty much the same as the Trac Edges.

My AT/ko's have worked fine in Tahoe snow. Much better than the stock Michelins, especially in slush. I would still carry chains for severe snow with either tire.

I have had the same experience as Barry ... enough snow to go around up here. Only thing I have had bad experience with the K/O's was in mud and clay but the tread wasn't designed for that.
