Hello all,

I have the lumpy idle problem and I'd like to divide and conquer. I seem to remember reading in here that you could disconnect the O2 sensors and the engine would run in open loop. Would the engine then smooth out? Is there any danger in doing this? What happens if the sensor has a hard failure as opposed to just slow/ugly signal? Just trying to learn as I go...
