I have not does this but was curious if any one has performed this task. I don't see why one would have to buy a whole new shaft if they could cut the old end off and have a new DC end welded on then balanced. Have not checked into pricing yet but shurely it is not 400 bucks to have done. Any info or advice. Daniel

No go.

No DC end is made with rover stuff except DII and the driveshaft places don't carry it and it is still different from the DI one so you need a new t-case flange. I asked around a bunch.

Dan,

I had a local shop made me up a DC driveshaft from scratch using all Spicer components for less than $300. So I assume anyone can make you up a DC driveshaft for a resonable price. I did however had to purchase the adapter plate from GBR.
