I just got my 2000 D2, with 23k miles on it, back from the dealership. It was in having the cylinder head rebuilt. The Check Engine Soon light had been coming on repeatedly. The dealership had previously replaced the coil pack to correct the problem, but it didn't fix it.
The service invoice says that the number five exhaust valve was sticking, so they replaced the head. Is this a common problem with D2 engines and has any one else had this happen, or do I just have one built on a Friday afternoon before a long holiday weekend.

Yes Kyle-
It is common. the new heads have the Calloway valve guides. It won't happen again.
