i have the 3" snorkel head w/grille that comes standard on the arb safari snorkel.



however, i much prefer the look of the snorkel head below.



i have searched the web but only found the 7" snorkel pre-cleaner ... functional i'm sure, but an EVEN easier target for trees and the such.
so, anyone got any ideas???? i know the replacement i have in mind is not meant to go on the arb, although with a little persuasion i'm sure it will.

He has (had) that part. About the cost of two Home depot hole saws. Have him measure the internal diameter of the bottom to make sure it fits. Is 7in too big? Might want to check with him on that it did not look 7in but you should check to be sure. Also if you call up someplace that sells for tractors they have a very similar part

Somebody in one of the LR mags (LRO maybe) was advertising the pre-cleaner heads only.

That snorkel head on the pic you posted is a generic tractor part. Mantec simply adapted it to the D90 snorkel. You can find that part both domestically and abroad if you're willing to do some leg work. If you can't find the head in the USA, check out: http://www.mattsavage.co.uk/ Matt Savage has those snorkel heads for sale; one of my wheeling buddies bought his snorkel head there.

Are you sure you want this snorkel head? I don't think it would look too good on your Disco and your ARB snorkel. To my way of looking at things, the ARB snorkel is ugly with the scoop pointed forward, but it looks pretty damn good with the scoop pointed backward. Give that a try before you dump your ARB's scoop. I think the ARB snorkel with the backward scoop would look tons better than having that tractor head on top of your snorkel.

Yes, that precleaner looks ghetto all right. It reminds me of those bee catchers one sees on the golf course. I would rather suck in dust than have that on my truck.

Dom's ARB snorkle head won't fit facing backwards. We already tried that. :-) His dad thinks it looks "ghetto" anyway. He called you a redneck, right? So funny.
