I have a 1997 US Model Discovery SE. I noticed that both remote radio buttons on the instrument cluster (SEL and Next >) no longer illuminate at night. Does anyone know the proper procedure to replace these bulbs and what type of bulb is needed. Originally the SEL button bulb no longer illuminated. So I tried to pull the button out and guess what, after getting about halfway, felt some resistance, a small click, and after putting the switch button, noticed that both that button and the one above (Next >) no longer illuminate. The buttons function properly but do not illuminate at night.
Any suggestions, thoughts before I continue to just yank the buttons out completely.

I tried to contact LampTech -- apparently they make small instrumentation bulbs for the automotive industry but have not heard back from the yet. Does anyone know if the dealer stocks these parts or if I need to replace the whole switch. Replacing the switch seems ridiculous to me. If a bulb burns out in a chandelier, replace the chandelier!

Yes, you can get just the bulbs from the dealer or Rover Connection, etc - easy to replace, just tiny.
