As of yesterday my wife and I noticed a loud and ugly grinding noise accompanied by a thumping whenever we turn to the right and left. Also when braking coming off the freeway. We had the alignment done last week could that have anything to do with it? I got underneath and didnt see anything out of the ordinary. However it does look like the passengar side spring isnt seated on the perch all the way. But I dont think that would be it. Any ideas??

Oh the thuming and grinding seem to come from the driver side front tire or there abouts.
