I need to replace the front abs sensor. Anyone have any comments on how to do this effeciently? Is it just a matter of pulling the bad one out of the hub and inserting the new one. what about the kit that comes with the new sensor( called the swivel pin bearing kit). Is that needed only if sensor doesnt sit down?

You're correct - the front sensors just press down into the swivel housing. The only thing to make sure of is to thoroughly clean the top of the swivel housing before removing the old sensor. You don't want dirt and all that crap falling down into the sensor hole when you pull the old out. Also, a little lube on the new sensor helps it slide in.
