I'm thinking about lifting my Disco, and although I'd love to do the "Cheap Bastard" lift, I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't fit in my garage any longer. Is there a set of springs that would give me 1"? Would that be a waste of time?

You could call John at Rovertym. I'm sure he can get you some.. Not to sure what one inch of lift would do for you though? What disco do you have ser1 or ser2?

what i did before my lift and 235-85s was to make six styrofoam blocks that were 4" tall and tape them to the carry handles and rear most corners of my roof, blue masking taped them on lightly.

then drove in and out of my underground parking to see if they would clear. and they did!

so i did it! - though i still look worryingly thru the alpines at the water pipes and ducts!
