Mornin' all,
What wire gauge should I run to a pair of 4000s w/130W bulbs?
Will a 30amp relay be sufficient (seems so from the current draw I think)
What inline-fuse should I put in?
Has anyone been pulled up for driving without the covers on (at night) in NJ area
Thanks
Dean

the harness was too short so i extended the lines with 14ga wire. No problems so far. NJ, the troopers will love them. (and tell you never turn them on again, lol).

i have 14ga as well, just the wire that goes from battery to relay IMO has to be heavier and short.
30 amp should be fine. i think a set of 4000's will be sufficient w/ a 20amp fuse, w/ upgraded bulbs... i'd go w/ 30.
inline fuse, whatever it is get waterproof and hd.
good luck.

12 gauge at the least. Keep in mind the more volts the more light. I used 10 gauge I believe.
