I'll try this again.
Has the British military ever converted the Disco to a tactical vehicle like they did the Series LR's? How about off road military trailers?

Unfortunately, no. The Disco has probably considered, but not used in the tactical role. But Discos have been used as armored transports for VIPs through military hot spots. Just think of it: A lone Disco driving on a rough road with about a dozen armed troops in it. Then, BOOM! Gunfire, explosions, etc. The troops jump out of the car with lightining speed to defend their territory. People might pay money to see 12 fully loaded soldiers try to jump out of a Discovery. Oh well, Dream the impossible dream.

When I went to England last summer, I saw several variations of a Disco. The most common was a police car Disco, the next most common was a construction Disco(they basically painted it orange and put a big sign behind it that said ">>>>." The worst one I saw was the Disco that said "morning milk delivery." I never saw a military Disco, but I did see a lot of Defender military versions.

I wonder what the boys in the "Special Vehicles Unit" at Sollyhull have dreamed up for the D's? It would be fun to look over their shoulders at their sketch pad.
