I'm thinking about getting the Borla Catback exhaust system for my 95 Disco. It's stock except for a K&N air filter. Anyone using this setup? How do you like it?

Yeah...I have a 95 Disco with a K&N airfilter and a Borla cat-back exhaust. I love the exhaust system. It will give you a noticeable power increase(especially in the highway). It sounds really good too(give me your e-mail address and i'll send you a sound clip). The exhaust system was custom designed for the Disco, it stays quiet during highway speeds but is loud in the 25-30 and 45-50mph zones, but it takes about 1.7 miles for the exhaust system to heat up before really rumbling. The installation was straight forward. It is a direct bolt-on of the old one. There is no drilling or welding involved. The only complaint I have is the tip, it is a little big for off-roading, it scraps a lot when departing from a hill or something, but you can weld on a smaller tip from Borla. If you decide to buy one, get it from Atlantic British(it's $499).

Thanx, MA...that's what I wanted to hear. How's the gas mileage? My parents live 10 min from AB, so I can save on shipping (and visit mom, too). My e-mail is old4x4@juno.com. I'd love to hear it!

You guys can hear your exhaust over your tires? WTF? I'm in, Nathan. How much?? I drove Charlie's red DSII with the Borla and loved it. With 33's, I need every bit of power I can get!

I got the local exhaust shop to make me a custom mandrel bent, cat back exhaust for $275 with a Flowmaster 50 series muffler. Sounds awesome and I experianced a noticible power increase.
