97 le 45K - just noticed some bubbles on the paint inside the rear door cavity where the wheel well meets the uprights - both sides - any ideas ? does it have to rust through to be covered by warranty, or should i go see the dealer.

Exaclty the place that most Disco's rust. Mine rusted here and was fixed under warrantly, but this was before the 3 year/36K was up. Should be covered under the 6 rust year warranty, though. See your dealer.

By the way, if you have rust here, you probably have it in a couple other places that rust easy that you don't know about. Have the body shop that the dealer recommends to a full inspection.

I have a 95 with a little rust in the same place. Will Land Rover fix this or is mine out of warranty? Mileage is 75,000

Look in your owners manual and see when the delivery date was. This is what is going to make the difference for you. Your mileage is in line but the years is 6.

I'm the second owner of a 95 and just took it in today to for work on rust around the alpine windows. The service date for my vehicle is 5/19/95. Covered under warranty, no questions asked. My dealer found the service date for me as I don't have the owners manual.

Anyone have any experience with the Land Rover dealers in Atlanta dealing with rust? I have some around my alpines and near the drivers side rear door, and probably some in the rear door. I am the 3rd owner and my truck has never been serviced by a dealer (i know thats bad). Will this void the warrantee? Thanks
