My rear passenger window got stuck in the down position during a vacation in Florida. I had to remove the interior door panel and insert a 1x2 to keep the window closed until I could get back home (Michigan). The window (if I remember correctly) is attached to a steel channel. Inside this channel, a plastic wheel (indirectly attached to the gears for the window motor) slides back and forth to raise/lower the window. This plastic wheel broke in half on my 96 se7. If you can hear the motor trying to turn when you activate the window switch, check this plastic wheel. If you can't hear the motor trying to turn, check the motor.

Plastic wheel can be replaced with a wiper motor bushing or a toilet part found at every hardware store I have been to. Regulators are like 100 bucks from the dealer.

I will be doing this to my new truck this weekend

You have to get it in just the right position as far as in out and it will come through. Just step back and think about it and you will see. Kinda a bit zen of an answer but that is the best explanation I can give

I had the same thing happen to me and the little half moon shape wheel (gear) broke off the spot welds and the little plastic wheel was broke also. you have to take an 8mm and a 10mm socket and remove the tracks and the motor assembly to get it out. good luck
