One more question. How easy is it to set the timing on a rover V8 (it is a 3.5 RR but I am sure the 3.9 disco is similar)? I can do it on the 1959 but I am not exactly a technical wizard. What is the way to tell if a cap and rotor need to be replaced beyond mileage? Can I get a lucas blue streak cap at NAPA?

Is there a rover spark plug in the bosche (sp) super line. They are cheap and I know someone said that the 4 bangers are the same as the V8 in plugs so would the ones RN sent me for the 1959 work in the V8? Don't laugh. A lot of parts are still interchangeable between the old trucks and DIs and RRs.
