Ok folks, thanks to contacts in the UK I have secured the PN for the heated windshield.
I've also learnt that US dealers are not allowed to stock the item.
Bloody marvellous if you ask me.....
So plan B is trying to persuade an RN/ABP or UK equivalent of the level of genuine interest in replacing the unit with a heated one.
So how may people would really pull out the credit card to do this. Wiring etc if not installed would probably have to be figured out in the field though PN for the timer etc are well known

US dealers can order most stuff, even if they don't stock it. Why not order from the UK directly. Paddocks, Blanchard, Craddock, Dunsfold, are all very rebutable and ship to the US. I think paddocks carrys a lot disco parts.

Did you ever put a estimated cost together? I'd think I need all the bits and pieces for my 96, that you need for your 95.

As of right now, I'm interested, but my windscreen is still fully intact...
