I'm not familiar with working on these trucks yet, however will a set of Bilstein shocks from a '95 RR Classic fit a '97 Disco? Thanks-Phil

Phil,
Last time I checked the bilstiens have different part numbers for the 95 RRC and 97 disco. They may fit but the valving is different. A lot of the RRC guys have problems when they switch to coil as the shocks are valved to work with the EAS.

What problems would I have? A better or crappier ride than the stock shocks.
Phil

BTW, thanks for the help.

I think they said that they were too loosely valved, but because they are Bilstiens it might actually be OK, and probably better than stock. No personal experience (no EAS RR) so I am not positive on how it changes, just passing on a "look into it further" before you go ahead with it. I know it is not a huge problem as the major houses sell the conversion kit w/o shocks so it might end up being ok. But if you are paying to have someone install them you might want to think twice. Hope that helps.

I would be doing the job, with some assistance. But, if they aren't going to give me that much of a better ride it might not be worth the deal and time to do the job. Thanks for the info/help.
