There is a Land Rover Center on Route 206 in Montgomery (Somerset County) accross from the Princeton airport and I think there is one on Route 1 in the Avenel section of Woodbridge. Not sure about anything up north

OK four wheel drive, something like that in central Jersey. Also 4x4 performance specialties west point PA is relatively close and they do locker installs.

OK 4WD in Stewartsville, NJ
Tel 908-454-6973
They are primarily a *Jeep*/Full Size of-road shop but they do have Rover experience. I've purchased OME and small SG stuff through them (at online price levels) and also know a few who have had them install lockers as well.

Tom,
Are there any scrap metal retailers near you? I am looking for aluminium plate or SS plate.

try www.onlinemetals.com , prices are okay and they are meant for small quantity buyers. I plan to make a skid plate from their 1/4 aluminum plate.

I am not inspired by onlinemetals.com
I want gaint sheets of 8mm or higher aluminium big enough to take and use as plates between the frame rails. Someone recently said they found bus skid plates (you know in the rear where they always drag) and they were like 10mm and were at scrap prices (they got 2 for $35) but the place was like two hours from where I live. I would also like some chomo or SS to make frame sliders out of.

Ron,
I found a Auto/Truck Salvage co about 10 minuted from work. E-mail me offline with details of what you want - I'll stop by and see if they can find it.
P.S. I've never been there before, so I don't know what they are like to work with...
