How hard was the supercharger to install? What kind of modifications and equipment comes with the unit itself to hook up to the engine?

Unfortunately, my Disco was in a severe rear-end roll over collision. The truck was a total but the insurance company would not cover the supercharger, so it was removed. It is complete and it includes all parts needed to install. There was absoutely no damage to engine bay or anything which resides in it. It is a sizeable job(as is any supercharger install)but its all there and it gives you roughly 40% power increase.

Does the kit include the ECU chip needed to revise the fuel mapping for use under forced induction?? If not, an already weak mixture for NAS motors will be made 100 times worse with a s'charger...burnt valves or even a holed piston wouldn't take that long to happen esp. on an older motor. I'm sure your motor ran fine but I wouldn't risk it.
