My '95 is black and I can not seem to buff out the paint to its "expected" shine. I don't believe it is oxidized. This is especially true on the hood and the top of the vehicle.
My next COA (course of action) will be to "water-sand" it.
Has paint been a problem with "Discoverys" in the past?

it is generally known that the build quality of early NAS discos is not good at all...
that said, LR is also known to have a state of the art painting mechanism...
i doubt you benefitted much from this...
