Hello everyone,
I need to get the Pioneer head unit out of my dash to do some work on the climate control system. My question is, how do you get it out? I think I've read on here before that some of you had replaced your stock unit with others, so I was hoping somebody could tell me the correct way to remove the factory one. I was able to unscrew the 2 Allen screws on the sides, but that didn't seem to accomplish much, except the radio started beeping at me (no biggie, just really annoying). So I'd appreciate any help you guys could offer.
Thanks!

I just replaced my factory radio 3 weeks ago. (This is my 2nd rover which I've replaced the factory radio.) On both of them, I just unscrewed the allen screws and used a flathead screwdriver to 'pry' very gently on the sides, and it slid right out. You may have to 'walk it' left and right a bit, but it should come right out.

Hey man, thanks. I'll have to give it another shot. Hadn't been able to budge it much before...
