Anyone got generic Part #s that fit so I can cross refernce to Autozone or Pep Boys.. etc? I found a replacements available at Napa for $24.49 but cannot cross-reference the part # (Precision #344.) As for the Land Rover Austin dealer they're CRAZY! They're asking $126.99... for ea u-joint! I think they're pulling my leg but I'm not sure. Need some info on part #s please.

Try Atlantic British (www.roverparts.com), I think they are around 50-60 bucks. Go with genuine rover parts, you will ended spending just as much on aftermarket replacements as they will fail. spend the $$ upfront and do it right. you will be glad u did.

Well,
It turns out we can all breath easier.. we can find them locally for $10 or so part # 1-0153. Or.. better yet get some that last longer from Bill at GBR for about $20 # 5-153x. As for the Rover parts, I've learned that most of their stuff is not strong enough for my needs so I'd rather try to upgrade, and saving a little cash won't hurt anyone... nor will getting them quickly.
