Bought vehicle used from local small town used import dealer. (He warned me this would become a "cult" thing, owning a Land Rover. I'm glad it has!)
95 Disco 96,000 miles to date, and soon after buying last year, lost power to rear windows. Monkeyed around with fuses, but intact. Figured I would get it serviced when something major went......well it hasn't happened, and now the fronts are powerless also. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do? ( For all the complaining I see about LR sometimes, I must say this is the best vehicle I've had since I totalled my Honda!!)

I got 95 Disco too and my rear window often gets stuck. It takes few running miles to get it work, so be patient. Front windows, mine's slow and working. Hope we find a good fix on this 95 "cult" thingi.

I have a 97 Disco, and the same thing. You have to run for a while to get the back windows to work. I guess electronics isn't one of the English's strong points.

Has anyone removed their door panels to get to the window regulators? If you do, look for a white telfon bushing that sits in a metal channel. That channel needs to be cleaned and then re-lubed. This should do the trick. If not... check your switches. See if the rear switches work fine and compare to the front ones. If the front ones don't work but the rear ones do... you've found your problem. You can get switches for about $12. Also, check the connectors to the motors and scrap off the leads a bit. Over time, electrical contacts build up grime and in some cases look like old battery terminals. Just mis dos centavos......
