I am considering this suspension, is it any good. It seems to be a good on-road/off-road combination. If I remove the sway bars, would the truck be able to flex without the springs popping out of their seats? Is the ride quality good and will 245/75-16 on stock alloys rub under full compression?

OME ride quality is excellent, on and off-road. I have HD front / MD rear springs and shocks - I've ridden in HD all-around and MD all-around Discos, and I couldn't tell the difference. I realized about 2.5" over stock, but 2" is the assumed standard (my stock shocks had blown their seals and springs were really tired). I have 245/75/16's on stock alloys, and the rears rub only when forward momentum pushes back rear axle; the tires clear fine when at a stand-still. Minimal trimming will rectify this...check out photos in my gallery.
Don't know if OME shocks will extend far enough to unseat springs...don't think so...

I have the ome HD suspension on my D1, and I just got back from uwharrie safari and did not have any problems. I traversed the "Hard" Trails and the truck flexed great (rear sway bar removed). Have yet to upgrade tires, but when i do i am going with the 235 85 buckshot mudders. I think the truck handles better now than before, even without the swaybar in the rear. It rides a little stiffer but I like it

The OME's are good. I have had the HD ones on my Disco now for approximately 41000 miles or so. No problem. I am also using the OME shocks no problem there either. I have completely removed the front & rear sway bars. The springs should not pop out because you still have the shcoks limiting the travel of the axle. I still use the stock size tire.
