Southern Four Wheel Drive Association (SFWDA) is hosting the 15th annual Dixie Run at Tellico October 5-7, 2001. This is our big annual event / fund raiser / trail ride weekend. While it is not a Rover only event, Rovers are surely welcome and I'd love to see a decent turn out for the event.

The net proceeds from this event are used by SFWDA for trail maintenance in the southeastern US with approximately 80% of the funds being used at Tellico. The event does have an entry limit and applications go out in a couple of weeks. I won't be leading rides this year, but will be working on ride assignments and tech inspection.

I would love to show some disbelievers that Discovery owners will put our rigs on some of these rugged trails (but there are some trails at Tellico that I would strongly advise against taking a Discovery on).
