I have heard that there are about an equal amount of disco to defender owners registered for this event. So, come on disco owners, get your registration in and let's get out there. We sent in our registration over a month ago and would like to see the mass of discos out there show up. We all spend countless hours building our vehicles, now is the time to get them out on the trails. I know for some it is a bit of a drive, but there are currently people registered from NY, NJ, VT, IN, etc. etc.
So, get your registration in and make the drive, we went last year and I promise it is worth it. See you there, David

My wife and I have quite a drive to the event, and plan on camping. Is it ok to arrive on thursday or do we need to find somewhere to stay until Friday? If we do need to find somewhere to stay, can someone post some info on other camping locations in the area. Thanks

If you are going to be in the area on Thursday then yes, it is fine to arrive on Thursday. However, the event and activities as well as the trails will not open until Friday around lunchtime, as we won't have the trails designated with their respective signs until late Thursday. We do have some participants from out of state arriving on thursday due to their driving schedule and some of our members, including myself will be there on thursday. There won't be any need to find somewhere else to camp, but email me and let me know if you do plan to arrive early. Thanks, NB

We have been working on adding even more trails to the event, although we had enough to begin with we thought, what the heck!!! We will keep adding until the event. For those interested, we have added acouple of trails that are right up there with Tellico's best. We have also added a few more intermediate trails and novice trails. We are adding yet a few more between now and the event. For those interested in attending, the registration deadline is fast approaching. I need to have all the registrations in by Sept. 7th!!!
For all the info on the event, please visit our website at: www.solaros.com go to the events calendar page then click on the 8th annual SAE.
This year's event is WAY BETTER than last years, and last years was a great event. See everyone in Sept. Norman
