This is just a general announcement regarding a few things going on this weekend at the fest. This will be my virgin expericence there and I will most likely be camping the entire weekend there. (unless it gets super hot/humid and I really start to stank up the place) But how casual is the resort about after hour gatherings and so on? Do folks get togther at night at the campground or other designated areas and build fires and have a few beers? My reason for asking is that I have a left over (untapped) keg from a week ago and was wondering if I should bring it with me. I am not suggesting we/I drink during the day at all, but rather for evening enjoyment. (BTW it is a keg of Leinenkugels Red)

And Bill B., what time are you heading up there on Friday and where from? The only other person I was considering meeting up with was Evan Price with a IIA. He is leaving from the Pocono's area EARLY on Friday.

Thanks all~

Cheers!

We will have the Bear Mountain Lodge to ourselves for the entire weekend. It's kinda secluded, and the camping area will be right there. I suspect that is where most of the after hours gatherings will take place.

Axel...didn't Bear mountain lodge (BAR) close up at like 6pm or something last year?

Actually...all the bars on Killington rd. will be open...but close if no one's in them, There are small bars at most of the inns open to anyone...all dress is casual at all the places...

unless you guys go dancing at the Night Spot...Wear your tight leather there!

I was going to camp in my pop-up, but if you start smelling up the place, my wife and I are going to an INN!!

Well i plan on bringing the damn thing with me and keeping it at the camping area for evening enjoyment. Hopefully they will be allowing us to have open fires in the camping area as well. There are a few good bars on the access road.....Casey's Caboose and of course the Wobbly Barn. I don't plan on riding at the mountain until Sunday, so I shouldn't be stinking to badly. But if I do I will head to the Night Spot and splash some cologne on.

I will be camping in my bright blue North Face 2 person......can't miss it.

......and eventhough the keg will be in a 'Miller Lite' tub, it is far from it. as long as the hot sun does not turn it into crap. well if all else fails the Long Trail Brewery is about 4 miles down route 4 from Killington. a great place to have lunch if anyone is looking for a spot. nice deck along a river and great beers flowing similarly. so the thought of running out of beer does not even enter my mind.

manchester, nh has great deals on incoming flights!! :)

ps: i better bring my Depends in case i get lazy and have a few to many.
