Hey guys,
Had a blast at Sycamore. Thanks to Bill, Seann, Brian, and everyone else who came (sorry can't remember any more names). I have my photos from the trip on a web site now, the link is below.
December 2nd trip to Sycamore photos
I propose a trip up Four Peaks in a few weeks. Any takers? How about Jan. 12th or 13th. Would like to go earlier but I'll be out of town a lot between now and then.

What the hell, it is raining today and all the dust was washed off. During this past trip, there were several conversations about four peaks and I certainly would like to go. Oh yeah before I forget, whoops I ripped off my antenna on Sunday. Any suggestions for a replacement.

hehehe now's the time for a fun Pima & Dynamite run...Dixeleta Wash should be all smoothed out like a superhighway after all this rain. Maybe I'll sneak out of the house around midnight tonight
Hell, there's probably even water in the damn Sycamore Creek now, too.
As far as antennas go, try:

I just talked to them today (I bent mine again Sunday and it's really time to lose it). They just moved to a new, larger facility next door to the old one - they therefore won't be ready to help you rig a better antenna for another month or so. (They don't have an off-the-shelf flexible antenna, but I was told they do good "custom" work). If you find a good, flexible "whip" type antenna that will mount to our existing mounts, let me know.

I'm sure I get get a universal antenna with a spring base that will fit. Problem is that they don't retract but with the spring base it should be alright. I'll have to see what I have in stock and if I don't have anything I can order one in. I will be getting more parts in this week and will bring in a couple antennas like that. Stop by or call me if you want one.
I caught mine early and pushed it down cuz I knew I would have tore mine off too.

For the love of God...
Truck is leaking coolant AGAIN! Came home from lunch to a nice green puddle. What sucks is that I just had the dealership replace the radiator 6 weeks prior. Man you just have to love them or you go insane.
I WILL get it fixed before next trip.
just needed to bitch
pissed off Brian

Brian, you have to really make some noise with LR Scottsdale if you want results (I mean literally make noise - jump, scream, and shout). Maybe walking around the showroom floor banging pots & pans would help, too. I haven't tried that yet.
