My IIA is still positive earth and I have no plans in the immediate future to convert it.
I've been told that it is possible to get halogen head lamps of the same wattage as direct drop in replacements.
Does anyone know if this is correct? If so, off hand, anyone know the hi/lo wattage of the stock lamps? How about part #'s for aftermarket lamps? It would be nice to see what's in front of me at night....

Sylvania Halogen available everywhere 55/60 or so $9 each.
Also Sylvania xtravision 55/60 are even better (have these on all mine $13 a piece at pep boys, etc.)
If your original lamps are lucas save them as they are worth something (not much)
Cheers
Ron
