Ok, I must admit that I don't mind cooking breakfast in the woods. My personal favorite is a breakfast burrito. I start by bringing the largest tortillas I can purchase. I boil some potatoes, quartered, before I leave and package them into a zip lock.
At the campsite I begin by cooking either thick sliced bacon or german sausage. Using the grease from the aforementioned items, I either dice up the spuds or shred them into small pieces. Fry those spuds up to a golden brown color. I do recommend adding some butter to this process. Once completed, you need to cook the eggs. Scrambled eggs with some butter and any left over grease is all that's necessary. Spice according to taste and/or mix in your favorite hot sauce or salsa. I generally like to use a spicy green pepper sauce in the eggs.
Warm up some tortilla shells and generously add the ingredients as you see fit. Add more salsa/hot sauce as desired and enjoy the meal. You can cook the spuds and eggs at the same time if your stove has two burners and the space allows.
I love breakfast in the woods, especially after fishing for a few hours early in the morning!
