1988RR

Notice the Discoweb sticker on the brush bar. Do I get a commission for advertising?

Hey Tim, what kinda brush bar is that? Is that the one DAP sells?

Yup, I got it from DAP (they are my "local" shop, I live in the next town over from them)

It was $75 I believe. (it was the display model and had some scratches)

Not a bad bar, but I am not too fond of the mounting system, so when I build a new bumper I will integrate it, and beef up the attachment.

Actually, I like the mounting system. If I am correct the bar mounts to the "outside" of the frame rails, correct? I have a Bearmach winch plate for my 88 RR and cannot install it because the stock brush bar is mounted on the "inside" of the frame rails and so is the winch plate, therefore, you can't have both installed.

What lights do you have on the front?

I had to make some adpaters for the 4Ks.

John,
Yes you are right, it does mount on the outside of the frame rails they are bolted (2 per side) with the stock bumper bolts.
I have a pair of Hella 1000's in the bar, and a set of 4K's on the roofrack (major re-build to fit them) I wanted something I could actually use on the road, so I oped for the 1k's.

JB,
I honestly don't know what they are off. I got them on e-bay, someone had them on a series, they were white to begin with, so I cleaned them up and shot them with some flat dark grey impliment paint (stuff is impossible to kill). The are BEASTS 8x15" and almost 1/4" thick, and therefore are about 10lbs heavier per wheel than the alloys.
