Time to ditch the 9000's. What brands/lengths/valving are you guys running on your RR's. comments?
Also- anyone had any experience with Swayaway's new BigBore shock? Pistion rod diameter is the same as OMEmu (5/8") and they are Nitro charged. new option maybe?
Thanks
Craig

I am looking to get rid of my RS9000's also. I want to go with Bilsteins. Just don't know which series of shocks I want. Also don't know about the valving.

Craig - post some action shots of that bobtail badass if you have them. How does it ride on the paved road at 75mph or is a dedcated off road only truck??

JB- I'm going to try to get out this weekend with it. I'll take some photos then. I drive her to work every day (only 6 miles each way though). The only difference in drive quality after the cut is that there is about 200lbs. missing now. I have to turn around and look to even notice any difference. Some slight issues at speed, but has nothing to do with the bobtail. Big lift/ big tires are to blame. All in all, I'm very impressed with how it rides. It's no OME ride, but suprisingly comfortable and capable on road. My only complaint is having to listen to that damn fuel pump whirr.
Regards-
Craig

If its not the damn ABS pump cycling it is the fuel pump whirring or the dog farting. The sounds ( and smells ) just let me know they haven't broken totally yet. My friends get mad because I listen to my rover's many sounds and sniff out the window regularly rather than talk to them and listen to the radio. They cant understand why I have to carry 8 types of fluids and spare axle shafts just to drive around town. My name is Jason and I have a problem...

All too familiar Jason. To make it even worse, there's no stereo in my rig yet! AAAAGGGGHHHH!

Which RS9000's do you guys have? I might be able to take them off your hands! Right now I'm looking for 9207s.

You don't want them Ali-
leaking oil, and the adjustment knobs are toast-
Ranchos belong on J**ps

Ok, sounds like yours are expiring. I've been using 9234s all the way around and I like them. I like the adjustability and I don't need a stiff ride. Of course your rig is quite intense so I can see your dislike for these. I was thinking of switching the front to 9207s for shits and giggles!
Have a good weekend everyone.

Craig-
What happened with your fuel tank? Do you have a fuel cell mounted somewhere and what kind of trunk space do you have now? And when you put the bobtail back together, did you just weld the aluminum together? Did you have custom glass made too?
