Where is the best place to purchase broken interior trim pieces? My 96 disco has a lot of broken plastic on the interior. All of the door pockets, both front and on the back door are coming off, having broken at the screw mounts. I'm also missing the clamshell covering on one of the rear seatbelt buckles. I'm also in need of a replacement antenna.
oh yeah and a headlamp washer jet.
Any web based store would be great.
Thanks

Also, has anyone come up with an ingenious solution for those POS underseat plastic cubbies. Mine are all beat to shit, so I've taken them out and have contemplated crafting some wooden replacements.
Any thoughts?

In UK there are several businesses selling salvage parts at OK prices, though if you're US-based, shipping will cost you pretty much. If several join in a collective order, shipping will not be too big a problem (that's what we do in Norway).
Otto's pages contain links to some of the salvage parts businesses.

Hope this helps,

Try Stephen Peters ([email protected]). His prices are very reasonable. He is moving right now, so give him a little time to respond.

Mark,
I think you will be surprised as to how much that plastic stuff costs new. Probably 50% of us have one of the three door pockets cracked. I would try some of the used parts stores.

If it was just a crack I could live with it, but the rear door pocket is only held on by some buildup of crud between it and the fabric that covers that door panel. About the only thing it will hold is some towels. And frankly I am tired of hearing my tools slide around back there while I'm out cruising the town. Besides, I feel like i need to fix all of these minor irritations on the i nterior before i go about making the major mods that all of you guys have inspired me to do.

Rob,
I know what you mean, but Stephen got me front door pockets for $10 each and rear pockets for $19 each. The same parts were about $40-$45 each from other outlets.
Now, that said, don't hold him to those prices, because there was some confusion on his end as to his costs for these peices (his distributor's fault I believe), but he was still MUCH cheaper than anyone else I found.

Mark,
Goto the next R.O.V.E.R.S. trip, and follow the stockers. Plenty of spares
