I am thinking of having a go at making my own skid plate and I have a question or two. I have an ARB winch bar sans winch (future). I was thinking of attaching the front of the skid plate to the bottom of the ARB bar in a similar fashion to the $G one. Will this cause a problem when I go to install the winch at a later date. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to go about this?

Trevor, I can't see a skid plate getting in the way of a future winch if you have a standard ARB. I built a skid plate after modifying the ARB (formerly air bag) bumper. I welded a couple of tabs to the bumper itself and two more tabs to the frame just in front of the tie down loops. Then I made a small rectangular frame to attach to the four tabs and bolted some aluminum to that frame. Sorry no pics yet, but here is one taken from the gallery that shows the SG setup with what looks like a frame for the skid plate. I do not know how else it is secured to the frame.
