I just started getting a slight noise and vibration at highway speeds. I was checking over everything and found excessive play in the output shaft to the front drive shaft. This play was not there 4 months ago. I have checked the archives and found very little other than it is bearing #6207. Can this be replaced without removing the t-case?

Yep , you will need a seal as well. Remove the front shaft and the drive flange. Then remove the ring of bolts on that little extension housing. It aint bad at all..

Thanks for your help. I will order the parts. You said to remove the ring of bolts on the extension housing. Where are the ring of bolts? Are they behind the drive flange? The only visible bolts are on the side plate to the left and back of the output shaft.

No , if you look there is a big ring of bolts around the flange that remove the housing there.. Take a peek and post back..

Your right, I didn't think I would have to take such a large section off the t-case. Thank you for your help.
