The recycle button bulb or light is out with regards to the air conditioning system on my 95 Disco. The recycled air still works, so do I need to replace the button/switch or a bulb that is behind it, and how do I do that. Some times these things can be pain in the ass, so any advise or tips would be greatly appreciated.

If you pull off the two temperature dials you will see two screws that hold on the faceplate - I found these by accident. I'm not sure what to do after that.

chuck, I beleive , at least in my 97 that the entire instrument panel cluster is fired by one fiber-optic type illuminaltion system.,

If the bulb is out, it will not lite anything up. Does the instrument cluster illuminate at night when the headlites are on?

if infact this is your problem, get a set of needle nose pliars and wrap em in a tissue, and grab each temp control nob. They pull directly off.once you get that off, do the same to the fan speed co0ntrol indicator..it pulls stright off as well.

Then there are some screws...remove them,

after you remove those scres, more stuff coem soff, and eventually you will see one single bulb...
unsure of teh part number, but its avalible in many places. very small, doesnt even look like a bulb from the installed veiw.

email me offboard if you get stuck

joshua
