I'm going to try to change the cap and rotor on my 95 disco this week. Does anyone have any tips or pointers? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bryan

Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Don't get the wires mixed up, is the biggest thing.... make sure that you have them back in the same positions.

Have fun!

Leslie,

The book of Yoda, you do read from. Maybe I shall invoke "The Force" for this project.

When removing the rotor arm be sure not to just grab it and pull up to yank it off, you will mess up the springs and contacts underneath. Take off slow and easy - If it doesn't come off easy break it off with a vise grips, its just shitty plastic. Put aline of dielectric grease around cap where it meets distributor and in the plug boots. Dontr mess up wire numbers and make sure plugs are finger tight, they can work loose over time and shoot out stripping the head. Do it right or it will bite you in the ass!
