I assume the front air dam on a DII must be cut to mount a factory brush guard. Does anyone have a template for this? What is the easiest way to make the cuts? Does both the "A" bar and wraparound brushguard use the same template. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

aren't two small plastic panels on the front the come off? If not, it'll only require two small slits.

One side does have a removable panel but the other does not. I would think the dealers use some type of template otherwise it otherwise it would be guesswork. Anyone done a home install on a factory brushguard????

Go to the dealer and carefully inspect and even measure one of their D2's with the brushguard. I wouldn't even tell them what your up to, but have a good look. maybe get pictures so you can see them while your doing the job....
