I have a 2000 Disco II with original Goodyear Wrangler HP tires. I am looking at replacing them with Toyo Open Country AT tires. Does anyone have these tires and what do you think of them?

george-

i almost bought these for my d1 - but they are definately road biased tires. to make a long story short - i ended up with bridgestone dueler mt's. and i love them. they are quieter than the xps, and look awesome on the truck. can't recommend them highly enough. if you go to tirerack's comparison chart they are the highest rated MT's they sell.

if you want an AT there are three that i like
pirelli scorpion
bridgestone AT - (had them on my jeep - drove the piss out of them and they held up great)
yokohama geolander AT+2's

CASMF

Our land surveying company had them on a suburban and we wore them out in two years (Toyo open country). The Avon All terrians (cooper tires) at les Schawb are doing much better in all conditions.

as far as A/T tires go which ones do you guys prefer, I am thinking either Pirelli or Yokohama (for a stock discoI)
