I know it's on the T-case somewhere, but where. I did some initial looking around on it, but don't see the little thing. I have the part now, so I know what I am looking for at least.

Seems like it was on the drivers side (in the US) two thirds of the way back and up near the top. It was really quite easy to get to. Once I got under the truck with the correct wrench in hand, a ten minute job. I was fixing the dropping out of cruise control and engine stumbles and dies problem on the 97 Disco. What are you fixing?

jeff. i am replacing the speed sensor. i am having issues with the truck 'cutting out' at cruising speeds only.

Jeff, did your cruise control cut out all together at one point?

My control has cut out now , and I have the same problem as garrett...

think they are related?
