Are there any other suspension kits equivalent to Rovertyms 3" offer? Are there other ones that are better or cheaper? I saw some Rovertyms in action this weekend at Hollister Hills and was impressed by them.

Mike and all others interested...the RTE susp. kits are listed with all potential components that may be needed at worst case scenario to make you aware of the possibilities. Depending on how any individual truck re-acts to a certain lift or how you want to set the truck up some components may not be needed to do what you want to accomplish with your truck. I suggest a starting point with any kit and see how the truck re-acts and add as needed to correct the negatives.

John also forgot to add, he backs an incredible product...
There is a reason people are swapping the OME and other kits for RTE
Im not so sure you can count on the "other" people.
Very impressive, indeed

Mike,
Those RTE Trucks were quite impressive. I was ready to drop the $$$$$ as well. But have house mortgages and the like to consider!!
Are you going back out soon??

I must give my props to RTE. My brother has an RTE blade bumper on his classic rangie, and I have the 3" w/ranchos for my disco2. Niether of us could be happier with a product. The bumpers are beyond solid, and the ride I have in my disco is far better than stock and ome. RTE from here on out.

Mike-
If you were impressed by the RTE modded Discos why look anywhere else?
RTE makes an incredible product for Land Rovers and you will be hard-pressed to find the quality, fit and design elsewhere.

Hi Sam, I'm ready for Hollister again and for everyone else in doing my homework I'm sold on the Rovertym. Esp. after seeing them in action last Sunday. As for john's post, If you have a stock Disco and being a novice in fixing them, how do you know what you need to transform the stock disco into a mean offroad machine? Wouldn't the kit cover all your basics?

The RTE 3" lift is of exceptional quality. I have had no problems with it. John has answered every question I have had regarding his products, and even some that applied to rovers in general. With regard to the kit, the order I would purchase each of the products is listed on the RTE website. The first five items are must have items to make the vehicle drivable. The last three items under the 3" lift kit are optional based on how your particular rover reacts to the lift.
1. RTE 3" springs
2. 4 shocks matching suspension lift
3. Rear shock mount kit (top and bottom)
4. Articulation cones
5. Extended rear brake lines
6. RTE rear links if needed(pinion angle correction)
7. Front radius arm correction(castor correcting)
8. Front Double-Cardon driveshaft if needed
Currently, I have all of the pieces listed above, and the truck performs masterfully offroad and on.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Diesel
