Well the problem at first was that the keyless entry would not fully unlock my driver side front and rear door, so I just used the key to unlock. NOW, my key will barely unlock the door, and sometimes when I close it, it will relock all on its own either locking me in or out. I have not had the time yet to pull the door panel off to examine, but WHAT SHOULD I DO when I do pull it off (this weekend)??
Thanks
William

Hmmm, how old is the battery in you remote? It defies logic, but I bet that's your problem. You are dealing with british electrics at it's finest.....

Had to replace an actuator in the drivers door a couple of times for customers because they were doing similarly weird things. There are micro switches built in to the locking mechanism and if they are out of adjustment the switches will be telling the lock system to do the wrong thing. Could also be the lock/latch mechanism itself.
The only thing you can really check visually is that the lock mechanism is moving all the way up and down without restriction from a defective actuator, or broken/bent linkage. Also check that none of the wires connected to the lock mechanism are disconnected or broken.
I have a door lock wiring explaination in the Tech section that is for wiring up an aftermarket alarm but it may be helpful for troubleshooting.

Good luck,
