I am looking at SG Stage I kit with the drop kit. Anyone have experience with it? What is a drop kit and how does it work?

If all you are looking at is a stage I kit, there may be some better options for you. Try RTE first, you won't be disappointed. Your $ will go much further there.

After looking at the specs for the SG kit I would say save a few dollars and go with the OME kit from Expedition Exchange. You'll also save yourself the $250 droop kit cost which can be put into more useful goodies for the truck.

Thats what we have on the disco. it is bent and a POS but we did not know better at the time.

All it is OME HD springs and the "drop kit" which is some retainers and longer bump stops.

RTE is better.
