Any help would certainly be appreciated.
First the rear windows stopped working and then started and then stopped and then started. Then the passenger seat stopped working and never started again. Then the Drivers seat stopped working and then started and then stopped working.
Right now I have the passenger seat up and I can't get it back. No one can sit there.
I checked the 30 amp fuses that I believe were associated with the seats but to be honest this situation sounds so strange I don't think it is a fuse.
Any thoughts?

What year? the DII's have a binding probrlem with their seats and will go in all directions except front to back the dealer will grease it and put shims in it and it will work for about 3 months and then you will go back and they will do it again and the will tell you it's normal la la la la la do I sound bitter or what.

1996. With all the other problems going on I am assuming it is en electric problem. Plus the drivers side does not work right now so I wouldn't think they would both bind up at the same time.

Thanks,

Someone emailed me and it was a 20amp fuse #6. It's labled as the cigarette lighter. It works great now. Thanks Jim Culver!

Rob,

Did the morning coffee trash the cubby switches, I my case it was High velocity vomit from my 3 year old that did the dash and cubby electrical in on my old Ranggie

The disco seat switched are better protected than the old RR. I used to have one of the switches apart once a quarter. Also my wife's bens has the same POS switches in them.

There is not much to the switches. All of my seat malfunctions the problem was the switch.

Rear windows check the switches also, Mine also had a craped out switch. it will jam the circuits. Also check the rear child switch on the cubby. I had that fail and rear windows did not work?. I now carry spare switches and Believe me get a spare brake light switch. It is fun when your locked in Park at night in the middle of nowhere and you find the weak link.

If you need to rebuild the seat switch the first time is a PIA, But be patient and use a large white cloth to work on. Use a clean eraser to clean the contact points and a dab of dielectric grease to hold the ball on top of the spring

Good luck

DD
