I get a pretty severe vibration in my 96 Disco if I am in fourth gear, I let off of the gas for a second or two and let the truck slow a bit, and then push back on the accelerator. The only way I can get it to stop then is to gun it and make it downshift. It does not happen every time, but fairly frequently. It is not the tires, and land rover richmond could not figure out what it was. I have noticed that the gear selector (high vs. low) shakes when the vibration occurs. Does anyone have any clues as to what is wrong?
