In my Factory Workshop Manual, the manual says there are two different stock sizes for the tires, whats the difference? is one narrower or wider than the other? Taller? If I go with the non U.S. size, will they still fit on the stock alloy? can I get a little taller without too much power loss?

If we're talking series One here, the two are:
205/16, also called 205/80-16
and
235/70-16
First is 205mm wide, 80%of that as height
the other one is 235mm wide, and 70% of that as height.
I.e. 2.one is wider, but they have same height. They both fit same wheels.
Check tech section on this site for more info!
Hope this clarifies!
